Supporting local Foodbanks

As well as supporting the Chiltern Foodbank, who we partner with at Holy Trinity, Prestwood, please do consider donating tinned and dried goods to the One Can Trust, High Wycombe.  If you live in Great Kingshill, 3 donation points have been set up and the details are as follows:

Three lovely people in Great Kingshill have decided to be ‘One Can Trust’ heroes and collect canned goods for those in need of help with food in the Wycombe area. Helen (one of our volunteers) will be leaving a container for a pop-up collection point at the top of Country Lane (part way along Spurlands End Road) every day for people to leave donations as they walk or cycle by. Wendy has a collection in Oak View (off Cockpit Road) and Kate has a container at the corner of Limmers Mead and Pipers Lane - nice and convenient if you are on your way to see the Bluebells in the wood.

All donations are welcome. One Can Trusts says they are particularly short of tinned meat products (pies corned beef etc) long life milk, canned veg and cooking sauces.
