Mental Health and Human Flourishing

Great Missenden church is running a series of Lent talks on Mental Health and Human Flourishing. Lent gives us an opportunity to reflect, to consider different perspectives and to discover new aspects of faith in God.
This series of talks on Sunday afternoons will look at our faith in relation to mental health and human flourishing - looking at how mental health can affect people of all different ages from children at school to adults with dementia and how we with God can provide a supportive network of love and care.
Each talk begins at 4pm in St Peter & St Paul's Church, Church Lane, Great Missenden HP16 0BA. Everyone is welcome to attend. Following the talk, there will be an opportunity for questions. A short and simple service of Compline will follow at 5pm for those who wish. On 24th March, instead of Compline, coffee and cake will be served before an ecumenical Taize service at 6pm.
Parking is available outside church, and we have good access, including an accessible toilet.
